Insurance Sales Assistant- Houston, TX
This job is to provide support to Insurance Executive with presentations, sales, and service of individual insurance products. This position will provide necessary support so that he can be freed up to maximize presentations and sales. This position is very process driven for interacting with prospects / clients and providing them with collateral that they need. Most prospect / client interaction is completed by phone and e-mail with some in person interaction. This position acts as an arm of our sales team to help obtain and retain customers. Interaction with our carrier partners is also an important part of this position.
Maintain licensing for the following :
- Health and Life License for State of Texas
- CMS Certification
- AHIP Certification
- Licensed with all the carriers for individual insurance products
- Work independently
Responsibilities
Receive incoming phone calls from prospects and customers, along with schedule appointmentsAssist prospective customers by qualifying them for what services they need and when they need themEnter prospects into Agency Bloc and note conversationsCommunicate via phone, e-mail and send Proposal Requests to prospectsPrepare proposals : Enter prospects into Sunfire Matrix, prepare / order Medicare Supplement, Life Insurance, Long Term Care proposalsManage ex-date prospect list with phone calls and e-mailsAssist prospects with applying for Medicare Part A and BSchedule appointmentsConduct Medicare education and insurance product presentations as neededSend necessary compliance items : Scope of Appointment, Health Insurance Consent Forms, required Medicare / Health insurance disclosure itemsProcess enrollments for insurance products, follow process checklists requests and document Agency BlocAssist current customers with service requestsOrder carrier suppliesThis list can change from time to time and in a small office it is important to be flexible with job dutiesHOUWC46 #ZR
