We are looking for an experienced litigation attorney to join our law firm client's dynamic legal team in Chandler, Arizona. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal writing skills and a proven ability to manage large litigation files effectively. Open to part time and full time candidates.
Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in insurance defense and municipal litigation cases, ensuring high-quality legal advocacy.
- Draft and review legal briefs, motions, and other court documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and mentors to develop litigation skills and gain hands-on experience.
- Manage multiple large litigation files, meeting deadlines and maintaining organized case documentation.
- Handle client communications professionally, addressing concerns and providing updates on case progress.
- Participate in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials, as required.
- Utilize case management and document management software to streamline legal workflows.
- Stay informed on changes in laws and regulations relevant to insurance defense and municipal litigation.
- Contribute to the firm’s growth by maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.
- Exceptional legal writing skills, demonstrated through experience with law journals, clerkships, or similar roles.
- Proficiency in using case management software, document management tools, and legal research platforms.
- Strong organizational skills to manage large and complex litigation files.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with civil litigation processes, including claim administration and complaint handling.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active licensure to practice law in Arizona.
