As our Psychiatry Sales Account Manager, you will spearhead the promotion of our psychiatry product portfolio, implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies and utilizing deep clinical knowledge to achieve exceptional sales performance. This role demands adaptability to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving market while demonstrating proficiency in the following key areas :
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Business Planning & Account Leadership : Leverage digital tools and data insights to create strategic opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and enhance sales execution.
- Selling : Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their needs to drive changes in behavior and securing commitments for action.
- Customer Development : Establish and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, focusing on customer needs and organizational goals.
- Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise : Analyze market dynamics and trends to uncover unique business opportunities within the psychiatry sector.
- Reimbursement : Stay knowledgeable of reimbursement trends and proactively address access issues using available Lundbeck resources.
- Pharmaceutical Environment / Compliance : Uphold knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape, ensuring adherence to Lundbeck policies and FDA regulations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device sales.Demonstrated ability to master complex product knowledge and successfully complete annual certification exams.Self-driven individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.Must reside within 40 miles of designated territory.A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential for this position.Ability to meet healthcare provider credentialing requirements for continued employment with Lundbeck.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :
Experience in specialty product sales, particularly within CNS / neuroscience, covering conditions like depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.Proven track record of successful sales performance.Experience with integrated account plan development and execution.Strong analytical skills and familiarity with sales data reporting tools.Experience in product launches and co-promotion efforts.Demonstrated leadership through active participation in relevant committees and projects.TRAVEL :
Willingness to travel approx. 30% - 40% within the United States for customer interactions and attendance at conferences.COMPENSATION :
The salary for this position ranges from $117,000 to $155,000, with an additional sales incentive of $39,000. Benefits include flexible paid time off, comprehensive health plans, 401k matching, and a company vehicle.
