Position Overview
We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Technical Lead to spearhead the design and delivery of cutting-edge, data-driven solutions within our Salesforce ecosystem. This pivotal position will act as the design authority in the Enterprise Applications team, fostering innovation through Salesforce Data Cloud, AI / ML applications, and the implementation of autonomous agents like Agentforce.
In this role, you will architect and build intelligent applications that utilize real-time and historical Salesforce data, integrate with enterprise data platforms, and harness AI for enhanced automation, personalization, and decision-making. As a trusted collaborator, you will engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and create intelligent solutions utilizing Salesforce Data Cloud to unify and analyze customer data.
Lead the orchestration and deployment of autonomous agents to automate workflows and boost operational efficiency.
Architect AI / ML-powered features in Salesforce, including predictive analytics and intelligent routing.
Develop scalable data pipelines and APIs for seamless data flows between Salesforce and other systems.
Collaborate with data scientists to implement operational models within Salesforce workflows for tangible business impact.
Manage the complete development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing support.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security across all systems and AI initiatives.
Establish best practices in engineering, including CI / CD, testing, and performance optimization.
Mentor junior team members and cultivate a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Stay abreast of Salesforce updates and AI / ML advancements to inform strategy and next steps.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years in software engineering, emphasizing Salesforce and data-rich applications.
Demonstrated experience in integrating Salesforce with enterprise data systems and building AI / ML-driven features.
Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud and autonomous agent frameworks.
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and data engineering tools, with familiarity in AI / ML platforms.
Solid understanding of data architecture, governance, and security principles.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management proficiency.
Salesforce certifications and experience with Einstein AI are advantageous.

Location and Workplace Flexibility
We have offices in Atlanta, Boston, Morristown, Plano, St. Louis, St. Petersburg, and Hyderabad, India. We support a hybrid and remote-friendly workplace culture with work arrangements tailored to position needs and determined by the Leadership team. In-office activities, when applicable, are aligned with team goals and company policies.
Base Salary Range
$127,000.00 - $169,000.00
At Zelis, we prioritize fair and competitive compensation. The base salary range reflects factors such as experience, education, qualifications, and job-related insights. Base pay is part of our Total Rewards package, which may include discretionary bonuses, commissions, or other incentives based on the role.
