Overview of the Position : ECOMPEX Inc. a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide supportive services for our government client.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Provide design services to rework / rehab / modernize electrical distribution within a built facility.
• Replace and expand exterior distribution systems; perform load sizing for emergency generator installations; and design pier shore-tie power systems to connect with shipboard power systems.
• Scope / design fire alarm detection systems; scope / design access and intrusion detection systems; and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Prepare drawings technical specifications scopes of work cost estimates and other documents when required to support complex construction projects on sites with diverse climatic geographic and environmental conditions.
• Coordinate with site contacts. Perform site investigation of project sites to gather essential data for new or renovation work.
• Prepare site visit reports. Conduct conceptual design meetings with all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline design support team members when working as a prime design engineer / project manager on multi-discipline projects.
• Update enterprise database system for budgeting project execution and construction management purposes.
