Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Location : Ashburn, VA 20147

Type : Contract

Shift : 9 : 15 AM - 4 : 45 PM

Pay Rate : $25 / hour

Job Summary :

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to support individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities due to age, disability, illness, or recovery. The PCA will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment while promoting client independence.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, feeding, and basic nutrition needs.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using safe techniques.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in social or recreational activities.
• Follow established care plans, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Accompany clients to appointments or community activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of provided services.
