Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available with a choice of location in Kokomo or Marion, Indiana, at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This direct hire role offers the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations within a community-focused healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and policy enforcement.
- Prepare and verify prescription orders while collaborating with healthcare providers.
- Oversee ordering, inventory control, and proper storage of medications and controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records covering inventory, patient information, insurance claims, and controlled substances.
- Ensure pharmacy appearance and product displays meet standards and professionally handle customer inquiries and complaints.
- Support retail pharmacy operations, including new pharmacy openings and telepharmacy support.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership regarding staff progress and pharmacy operational needs.
Desired Experience and Qualifications :
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.Valid Indiana state license to practice as a pharmacist.Certified immunizer status.Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy managerial experience preferred.Experience working in a Community Health Center and familiarity with administering a 340B program is advantageous.This role offers a meaningful leadership opportunity within a dynamic health center dedicated to patient care and community service.
