Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available with the option to work in either Kokomo or Marion, Indiana. This role is direct hire within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting and requires strong leadership and pharmacy management skills.
Responsibilities :
- Manage pharmacy staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance oversight.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Prepare and verify prescription orders, collaborating closely with healthcare providers.
- Oversee ordering, inventory control, and safe storage of medications, including controlled substances.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, patient information, insurance claims, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor pharmacy environment and customer service, addressing concerns and ensuring high standards.
- Support retail pharmacy operations, including new pharmacy openings and telepharmacy services.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership on pharmacy staff development and operational needs.
Qualifications :
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.Indiana State-approved license to practice as a pharmacist.Certified immunizer.Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy managerial experience preferred.Experience with Community Health Centers and administering a 340B program is an advantage.Location :
