About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required

Must-Have :

• EPIC experience required
• Experience in STEMI and stroke facilities
• Ability to work in emergency care for all ages
• Required competencies include blood product administration, central line care, continuous IV sedation, and the management of dysrhythmias

Description :

Registered nurses will work in an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities include caring for diverse patient populations with various medical emergencies.

Patients diagnosed may include those with cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health issues.

The department has specialties such as women's health and stroke care.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

The department typically manages a patient ratio of 4.

Weekend coverage may be required up to every other weekend.

All RNs must pass a required EKG exam.

Candidates must comply with all requirements before the start date.

No time off will be accepted for compliance completion.

Travelers may be required to float to other campuses as needed.

All patient care activities must adhere to established policies and procedures.

This role offers a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Candidates should maintain flexibility in scheduling.

Compliance with attendance policies is mandatory.

COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.
