We're hiring a Director of Baseball & Football to lead StubHub's Direct Issuance partnerships across the NFL, MLB, and emerging / junior football and baseball leagues. This role focuses on developing direct inventory partnerships with professional teams and affiliated entities from major franchises to new and developmental properties.

You'll manage the full partnership lifecycle : identifying targets, building relationships, negotiating commercial terms, and bringing deals across the finish line. This is a relationship-first role requiring regular travel to games, offices, and events around the country. You will report to the Head of Sports Partnerships and play a critical role in scaling StubHub's influence and access across North American football and baseball.

Location : Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) New York, NY or Santa Monica, CA

What You'll Do :

• Lead business development and partnership efforts across NFL, MLB, and related properties (e.g., XFL, USFL, MiLB, partner leagues).
• Own the full deal cycle : prospecting, pitching, negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with team and league executives, rights holders, and affiliated entities.
• Represent StubHub in meetings, games, and industry events to drive growth and maintain visibility.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across legal, marketing, operations, and product to bring deals to life.
• Stay on top of industry trends, shifts in league policies, and partner priorities to adapt strategy in real time.
• Track and report on pipeline health, partner performance, and revenue impact.
