Summary
To oversee nightly guest service operations, ensure revenue is posted to the correct departments, balance all revenue departments, and complete all necessary reports.
Essential Functions
- Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company on a daily basis.
- Prepare the front office for the Day Shift and reset day's business.
- Act as a Guest Services Agent during the night time hours.
- Act as the Manager on Duty during night time hours.
- Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift and make deposits of cash.
- Attend and actively participate in all front office meetings.
- Participate in all training and cross training programs.
- All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
Skills & Abilities
Understand and use math concepts.Interpret technical information presented in mathematical or diagram form.Work math problems quickly and accurately.Understand and use computers and related equipment.Speak and write clearly to report financial information.Make decisions about the value of real estate and personal property based on inspection of the property.Plan and direct the work of accounting clerks and other workers.Education & Experience
High School Diploma / GED; and two (2) years of hospitality experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Physical / Mental Requirements
Stand, walk, use hands to copy, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear.Reach with hands and arms.Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and / or crawl.Lift and / or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and / or move more than 50 pounds with assistance.Benefits
