About the role :

The Machine Operator (Yarn Prep Operator) sets up and runs equipment to prepare incoming materials for the textile manufacturing process.

3rd Shift : Sunday-Thursday 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am with training on 1st shift for approximately 6 months

Hiring Bonus : $1,000 after completion of 6 months

What you will do :

• Obtains training and knowledge for operating various types of Yarn Prep machinery.
• Provides flexibility to run many different process and machines.
• Follows standard operating procedures and work instructions to set up and operate the textile equipment they are trained to operate.
• Visually inspects product as it is running on their machine and documents / reports defects onto the production records and / or to their supervisor or quality team member.
• Performs tasks in accordance with applicable Work Instructions (WI), Visual Inspection Criteria, SOP’s, and internal specifications.
• Labels and packages product as per internal specifications.
• Enters information and uses ERP system to report quantities and time spent on jobs.
• Maintains clean machinery, parts, and surrounding area.
• Completes all associated paperwork & ERP tasks as required.
• Handles and weighs raw materials, cones, warps, and applicable textile processing tools as needed to perform their job.
• Other duties as assigned.
