A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily call production goals
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, medical office, or as a receptionist
Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
Ability to multi-task and work with multiple computer programs
Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
