A law firm in Fresno is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of general litigation experience, with a strong preference for Labor and Employment Law experience. The role requires a current California license and involves handling labor and employment law cases, managing a diverse caseload, and providing high-quality legal representation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in various labor and employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and workplace safety issues.
- Manage a diverse caseload of labor and employment law cases from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide informed legal advice.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in administrative hearings, arbitration, and court proceedings.
- Advise clients on compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processes when applicable.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, strategic recommendations, and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to build and execute case strategies.
Requirements :
3 to 7 years of general litigation experience.Strong preference for candidates with experience in Labor and Employment Law.Active license to practice law in California.Proven ability to manage and advance labor and employment law cases effectively.Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.Strong oral and written communication abilities.Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Demonstrated client management and relationship-building skills.Education and Certifications :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Skills :
