Qualifications :
Education and Experience :
- Prefer a four-year degree in business or health administration (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of three years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to learn and become proficient in other computer programs.
Skills and Abilities :
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal departments, small businesses, broker agencies, and prospects.Excellent communication with coworkers, and effective collaboration on various external and internal work assignments.Independent problem solving, critical thinking, research, and analytical skills; able to interpret data / reports and effectively communicate impacts to Sales Executive and prospects.Expert attention to detail.Solid organizational, facilitation and time management skills; proactive and outcome oriented.Solid ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of authority; consistently demonstrate a proactive, inquisitive approach.Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively craft and communicate targeted messages that further the overall strategy.Team player with an appreciation of how sales related decisions impact the rest of the organization.Has a history of good attendance, and a willingness to work in the office and attend external work meetings.Essential Functions :
Responsible for assisting with the broker appointment process through the utilization of the Vertafore program.Responsible for processing Broker of Record changes and maintaining broker records in Health Edge and Salesforce.Builds and maintains relationships with sales channels and prospects.Conducts relevant research and analysis to support the design of attractive customer driven solutions that make good business sense for DDCO for assigned book of business.Works in tandem with Sales Executive and Account Specialist in the creation of proposals, presentations, and plans for each prospect to execute a successful sale.Proficiently utilizes Delta Dental of Colorado systems and sales automation tools such as Health Edge and Salesforce.Aligns to all Sales and Client Services related guidelines, metrics, and accountability matrices.Understands and intentionally applies DDCO's documented values consistently.Working Conditions :
This job operates in a professional office environment.
