Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Internal Medicine MD in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, 07849!

About The Position

Overview :

A thriving, community-based outpatient practice in Lake Hopatcong, NJ is seeking a Board-Certified or TRULY Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a flexible schedule, manageable patient volume, and a mix of clinical care and leadership within a collaborative, well-supported setting.

Position Highlights :

  • Outpatient-only primary care setting
  • See 20–25 patients per day
  • Schedule : 36 clinical hours + 4 admin hours weekly

(including rotating Saturday shifts and light call)

  • Treat patients of all ages across the continuum of care

    • Key responsibilities :

  • Preventive care, acute illness / injury management, and chronic disease treatment
  • Prescribe medications, vaccinations, order tests, and specialist referrals
  • Supervise support staff and provide team-based care direction
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation per E / M and HCC coding standards
  • EMR system : Athena
  • Full credentialing and privileging process required

    Job Requirements

  • Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) in Family or Internal Medicine – REQUIRED
  • Active NJ license (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
  • DEA , CDS / CSR , and BLS certifications (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
  • Clean malpractice history – REQUIRED

  • Base Salary : $220,000–$240,000 (based on experience and training)
