📖 Overview

Our client has multiple openings for entry-level technicians eager to learn a new trade : Structured Cabling . If you have experience working with your hands—whether in landscaping, construction, general labor, or material handling—this is your chance to transition into a growing technical field. You’ll assist senior technicians and team leads in building out network infrastructure, including :

✅ Pulling cable and fiber

✅ Learning color codes

✅ Punching down and terminating fiber

✅ Installing cable trays and pathways

✅ Building server racks

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• 🔧 Drop cable down walls using fish tape or other methods; route cable through data centers
• 🗂 Perform pre-termination procedures : organize, dress, and label cables; determine length and slack
• 🪝 Suspend and support cable using trays, J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, trapeze
• ⚡ Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cables
• 🔥 Perform fire-stopping procedures on firewalls; install sleeves and pull cable through penetrations
• 🔌 Terminate low-voltage devices
• 📐 Follow prints and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
• ✅ Adhere to company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards
• ➕ Other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00 / hr.
