OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in consumer bankruptcy law.
- Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Florida
- Member of the Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida
- Familiarity with e-filing via CM / ECF
- Familiarity with Bestcase bankruptcy petition preparation software
- Prior experience attending court hearings, confirmation hearings, and 341 meetings
- At least 1 year of Bankruptcy experience
- Spanish required
- Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney Duties
- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7, and 13 filings
- Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and pleadings with precision and clarity
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court hearings and mediations
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
