Overview

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position at McBride Orthopedic Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Start Date : ASAP. The opportunity is to partner with McBride Orthopedic Hospital to drive strategic financial leadership and operational excellence.

The Position

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for strategic planning, organizing and directing the financial accounting functions of McBride Orthopedic Hospital and McBride Orthopedic Hospital Physicians. Supervises the accounting and accounts payable functions to ensure financial objectives are met or exceeded. Provides leadership to ensure efficient, economical and effective use of facility resources to meet the identified needs of the service region through medical care and health service programs. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Ideal Candidate

• Preferred Master’s Degree or CPA. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Preferred 5+ years of senior healthcare leadership experience in both the hospital and clinic setting. A minimum of 3 years hospital finance senior leadership experience required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
• Able to convey a positive image to the hospital family and community.

The Organization

McBride Orthopedic Hospital is a physician-owned specialty hospital with a long-standing history in orthopedics and sports medicine. The hospital is located in north Oklahoma City and is accredited by DNV GL-Healthcare. It generates approximately $200M in net revenue annually, with 38 physicians, 900 employees, one hospital, one outpatient surgery center and seven clinics. Facilities include 68 Acute Care beds, 9 OR Suites and 10 PACU Beds, and a 24 / 7 Level IV Emergency Department. Services include Hospital Imaging, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physical and Occupational Therapy, In-House Dietary and Environmental Services, and more.
