Founded in 2021 by Mike Woods, a veteran of streaming TV (Youtube / Maker Studios), OrkaTV is on a mission to redefine the FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) space with innovative strategies, efficient execution, and a strong commitment to partners and audiences.

The Role

The Role :

The business is in a period of rapid growth, and they are now looking for a Senior Director of Demand Partnerships to help build and manage relationships with all 3rd party partners; both monetization partners and technology providers. Orka has a range of partnerships that are core to the development of continued success in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing book of programmatic accounts and exceed quarterly and yearly growth goals related to Orka Marketplace
  • Own new books of programmatic accounts and exceed quarterly and yearly targets related to Orka Marketplace
  • Develop programmatic accounts for Watch.Orka platform; a DTC streaming service with over 200 FAST channels
  • Explore Identity, data and other 3rd party partnerships that can drive revenue and / or north star strategic value
  • Drive PMP demand via programmatic partners
  • Increase the awareness of Orka offerings in partner companies
  • Create training materials for partner launches and coordinate internal training

What You Bring

  • 6+ years working in ad tech , a strong knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, exchanges, ad servers, data providers and the landscape at large (inc. DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, OVPs Exchanges, Networks, ad servers etc.)
  • Existing relationships within the DSP space with a proven track record of forming long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Self motivated sales professiona l with experience in customer-facing, service-oriented roles
  • Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic, use an analytical and commercial orientated proactive approach to managing your book of business and identify upsell opportunities
  • Proactive with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting of various sizes and functions
  • Experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, Tableau, Microstrategy , Gemeni / ChatGPT
  • A passion for the evolving TV and streaming landscape.
