Summary of Work
- Aircraft Commander Act as Pilot-in-Command or Second-in-Command to provide aerial transportation for state employees, conduct aerial photography and mapping.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a commercial pilot’s certificate with an instrument rating, single-engine land rating, multiengine land rating, and high-altitude endorsement.
- Minimum of 2nd Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Four years of flight experience with minimum of {1200 hours fixed-wing total flight time, of which 1000 hours are as pilot-in-command, 500 hours cross-country time, 250 hours fixed-wing turbine time, 100 hours multiengine airplane time which must be in non-centerline-thrust aircraft and 75 actual or simulated instrument flight hours, 50 of which must have been in actual flight} OR {BE200 trained and checked by an approved facility within the last four years.}
- Work after hours, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in:
- Multiengine Airline Transport Certificate.
- King Air flight time.
- 250 Hours multiengine turboprop flight experience within previous five years
- Maintenance training and/or maintenance experience.
- FAR Part 91/121/135 crew resource management experience.
Applicants will only be considered for PIC if they have attended an approved King Air simulator school within the previous 12 months, are approved for consideration by the Chief Pilot and are approved for PIC duties by aviation insurance underwriter.
Candidates’ qualifications will be subject to review by Chief Pilot and aviation insurance underwriter.
