About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Engineering Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and quality delivery of complex fiber infrastructure projects across U.S. regions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in OSP design, FTTx planning, and QC management , with hands-on experience coordinating design teams, maintaining delivery metrics, and ensuring alignment with client engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Management & Delivery :
- Lead and manage multiple Fiber Design (F1 / F2) projects from initiation through completion.
- Plan, monitor, and track progress of drafting, design, and QC activities for both internal and client deliverables.
- Oversee end-to-end production workflows, ensuring quality benchmarks and delivery timelines are consistently met.
- Maintain status, QC, and production logs to drive continuous improvement and transparency.
Design & Quality Control :
Validate inputs and design packages using client systems such as MIC, LEIS, CFAS, IMAGINE, OCALC, and DA Address Report .Review and approve desktop and redline designs in ARAMIS-DT, AutoCAD, QGIS, and ArcGIS , ensuring compliance with client design guidelines.Perform Quality Checks (QC) on scoping and planning activities; train and mentor a team of production engineers to achieve 100% quality compliance.Manage design redlines, plan updates, and final deliverables submission.Stakeholder Coordination :
Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Directors, and Field Survey teams to resolve blockers and maintain smooth workflow.Interact with client-side Engineering Managers for design reviews, escalations, and sign-offs.Prepare and maintain project reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership tracking.Process Optimization :
Develop and standardize QC formats, drafting templates, and client reporting tools .Proactively identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce rework, and accelerate delivery timelines.Support continuous training and cross-functional collaboration across Fiber Design and Field Engineering teams.Required Skills & Expertise :
Strong knowledge of FTTx (FTTP, FTTB, FTTN, FTTC) planning and OSP design standards .Proficiency with industry tools : AutoCAD, ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, SpatialNET, Aramis-DT, Comsof FiberPlanIT, and Google Earth .iExperience working on U.S. telecom client projects (AT&T, Verizon, NBN, etc.).Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Hands-on experience with BOM, BOQ, SLD, AGH, CCU, and Billing documentation .Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python for project data analysis and reporting is a plus.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Telecommunications / Civil / Electrical Engineering (required).PGP in Business Analytics or Project Management preferred.6+ years of progressive experience in fiber design, quality engineering, or project management within a telecom environment.Prior experience with Congruex, AT&T, Tata Communications, or Jio Fiber is highly desirable.Performance Metrics :
On-time completion of project deliverables (≥ 98%).QC error rate below 1%.SLA compliance and client satisfaction.Effective management of 5–10 production engineers and design coordinators.Why Join Us :
