Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides/Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized and supportive care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:

· Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

· Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.

· Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility challenges by providing assistance with walking, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

· Companionship: Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.

· Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.

· Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.

· Monitoring Health Conditions: Observe and report any changes in clients' health conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients' conditions.

· Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.

· Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.

· Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

This position may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules. Home Care Aides may work independently or as part of a team, providing care in various home settings.
