Benefits :Thank you for your interest in our position. Small business here with 16 employees and 75 years in the Detroit area, engaged in specialty equipment repair, maintenance and sales. We are looking to hire one additional team member to handle basic day-to-day admin functions.
Our technicians perform onsite calibrations, repairs, and installations all over Michigan and parts of Ohio and Indiana. Our office staff answer the phone calls, take notes on scheduling, repair, and sales requests, and route the calls to the correct Service or Sales or Management people. We use all of the basic Office applications to keep track of thousands of customer jobs, critical calibration records, and the invoicing that pays for all of it. Quickbooks Enterprise, email, web-based vendor portals, and an online service order system are all part of the daily routine.
Experience with office systems, databases, and blended filing structures (hardcopy and digital) is a big plus, but obviously we will expect to train a new hire on where to find everything and how it all fits together.
