Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts that meet sales quotas and targets.
Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closing sales, including delivery and payment collection where applicable.
Prospect for potential customers via direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods like networking.
Manage client relationships with key decision makers, building trust and understanding their overall business goals.
Position FPT as a strategic IT partner and identify opportunities for IT solution implementation.
Qualify prospects based on company criteria for ideal customers and sales potential.
Consult with prospects on business challenges, requirements, and the benefits of various options.
Maintain relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers.
Draft and deliver proposals.
Collaborate with technical staff and product specialists to address customer requirements.
Develop and maintain territory and key account plans to meet sales targets and identify value opportunities.
Report on sales activities regularly, ideally daily, and keep detailed notes in CRM tools.
Provide sales forecasts and work with delivery teams to address issues proactively.
Build strong relationships with third-party and partner companies.
Coordinate with marketing for lead generation campaigns.
Offer feedback to sales management on sales cycle improvements, branding, and market trends.
Identify sales support needs and work with marketing to enhance sales tools.
Represent the company positively in the marketplace and conduct all activities professionally and with integrity.
Qualifications
BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience in sales and client acquisition.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of the software services industry and solutions.
Experience selling IT services such as Digital Transformation, cloud migration, managed services, and engineering services.
Sales experience in Banking & Finance, Insurance, Retail, or Consumer Goods sectors.
