Job Description :

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing autonomous database services, with a strong emphasis on architecture, operational efficiency, capacity planning, performance optimization, and deployment strategies. Collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams, you will help drive innovative solutions while maintaining high standards of reliability and system performance. Your contributions will apply to the full Oracle technology stack, from the database kernel and cloud service platform to end user-facing portals.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee operations and perform maintenance on cloud database services to ensure optimal performance.
• Address production challenges by enhancing automation, self-healing capabilities, and real-time monitoring.
• Deploy code updates and implement system changes within the region.
• Serve as the escalation point for incidents and issues related to cloud database services within the region.
• Lead and actively contribute to the resolution of complex technical issues that span multiple services.
• Drive the implementation and production operations for a broad range of core system platform solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents using defined reporting methods.
• Stay up to date with cloud infrastructure stacks to ensure effective operations.
