Base pay range

$120,000.00 / yr - $125,000.00 / yr

As a .NET Technical Development Lead at Gov2Biz Inc. , you'll be responsible for driving the technical excellence of our product suite. You will lead a cross-functional team of developers and engineers to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade web applications that power regulatory modernization for government agencies.

This role is both hands-on and strategic — combining architecture, development leadership, code quality governance, and technical mentorship. You'll play a key role in evolving our platform architecture, scaling our systems in AWS, and introducing modern engineering best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers through design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable technical designs.
• Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and CI / CD best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, and DevOps teams to align technical execution with business goals.
• Mentor developers and foster a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement robust backend services using .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Manage API architecture (RESTful services) and integration with external systems (payment gateways, CRMs, and government APIs).
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability across multi-tenant environments.
• Contribute to architectural modernization initiatives, including cloud-native design and event-driven microservices
• Oversee data modeling, query optimization, and stored procedure design in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with AWS engineers to implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure.
• Support DevOps processes for automated build, deploy, and monitoring pipelines.
