Medical Assistant

Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Fishkill, NY 12524. This is a 3+ months contract assignment (conversion into permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties :

• Recorded and monitored vital signs.
• Rooming patients, taking vitals, medical history, and verifying medication lists.
• Administering injections and immunizations as directed by providers.
• Managing patient messages, including refilling medications and calling patients with test results.
• Forwarding patient questions to providers and communicating answers back to patients.
• Ensuring all required qualifications and experience are met for the role.
• Performed EKGs
• Documented patient information accurately in the EMR system
• Assisted with cardiology procedures and patient care
