The Accounting Manager is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and high-quality services to the Company in each of the following key performance categories :
1. Personnel and Department Management
2. Financial and Management Reporting and Accounting
3. Revenue Cycle Management
4. Expense Cycle Management

Personnel and Department Management
- Establish and maintain strong, open, and respectful relationships with all company teams.
- Maintain awareness of key transactional relationships / processes between teams that affect revenue, operations, and customers service, with the goal of improving / streamlining processes while maintaining financial statement integrity and controls.
- Manage accounting personnel, including daily employee support, employee coaching, development and engagement, and employee reviews.
- Participate in, and contribute to, special projects.
Financial and Management Reporting and Accounting
Prepare monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows), including documenting variances and resolving unusual items.Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly for accuracy, validity, completeness.Provide timely, accurate, and succinct financial and operational information to management when requested.Analyze job / project cost reports for unusual items and opportunities to improve company performance.Create and maintain accounting policies and procedures to support company objectives and GAAP.Revenue Cycle Management
Oversee the entire revenue cycle [sales, credit, contracts, billing, collections, and cash receipts].Ensure recorded transactions are complete, valid, and timely.Oversee and manage the timely reporting and resolution of outstanding receivables, while maintaining strong customer relations.Expense Cycle Management
Manage entire accounts payable process, including procurement, receiving, accounts payable, payments, payroll.Ensure recorded transactions are complete, valid, and timely.Maintain good vendor and contract relationships.Skills / Knowledge

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceFive or more years' experience required.Must demonstrate a tangible fit with our core values.QuickBooks Desktop experience preferredMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)GAAP experience preferred.#IND #ZR
