Position Summary
As an Inbound Specialist at Gifthealth, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately documenting incoming shipments to ensure the integrity and availability of our pharmacy inventory and shipping materials. You will also be responsible for managing rotation and storage of inventory. You’ll coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all incoming products meet quality and compliance standards and are scheduled appropriately to maintain an effective flow. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the receiving and inventory storage areas. You will need to make sure that safety is a top priority for all in the receiving and inventory storage areas as well. This role is vital to maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the seamless flow of inventory into our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of products, materials, and supplies
- Verify shipments against packing lists and purchase orders, documenting any discrepancies or damages
- Accurately log and label all inbound items in our inventory system (WMS)
- Coordinate appointments and unloading of deliveries as well as organize stock in designated storage areas
- Maintain up-to-date records of inbound shipments and communicate with procurement and inventory teams to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy, quality, and safety standards in handling inbound product
- Assist in inventory audits to ensure accuracy and rotation
- Communicate delays or supply chain disruptions to warehouse leadership
- Manage returns and exchanges with vendors, ensuring proper documentation and handling
- Support general warehouse upkeep, cleanliness, and safety standards
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent requiredLicensure / Certification : Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtainExperience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse logistics (pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience a plus).Skills :
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite, Data Entry Systems)Proven reliability, punctuality, and commitment to maintain operational efficiency.Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication skills to coordinate with cross functional teams.Desired Attributes

Location : On SiteSchedule : 40 hours per week, with occasional additional hours during peak periods or operational escalations.Regular meetings with teams, departments, or leadership to ensure alignment.Key Essential Functions
Must be able to stand, bend and walk for at least 8 hours at a time while workingAbility to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 lbsMust perform repetitive motions for an entire shift : bending, reaching, lifting, scanning.Must be able to work onsite for all shifts.Comfortable operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, cardboard bailer, etc.)Capable of working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levelsMust follow verbal and written instructions in EnglishBasic computer proficiency for data entry and trainingEmployment Classification
