Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Import / Export Officer with a deep understanding of the Asian market to join our team in Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing import / export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing strategies to expand our presence in the Asian market.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee import / export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners in the Asian market.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and risks.
• Ensure compliance with import / export regulations and trade agreements, including tariffs and licensing requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and profitability in the Asian market for services from USA.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize freight forwarding efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present reports on import / export activities, market trends, and performance metrics.
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices in import / export management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's degree beneficial).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in import / export operations, with a focus on the Asian market.
• Strong knowledge of import / export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade agreements.
• Freight forwarding and logistics transportation regulations and experience.
• Sea & Air Imports & Exports experience.
• Cargowise / EDI experience (Essential)
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across cultures.
• Dangerous Good Certificate (Beneficial).
