RFC Specialist
The RFC Specialist is responsible for supporting and / or managing several aspects of Grocery Outlet (GOI) RFC daily operations. This role supports the warehouse, transportation, and inventory teams, and will act as the primary coordinator with other internal GOI and external partners. Helping the team with coordinating maintenance and replacement of operational equipment, optimizing processes, directly supporting General and Operations Managers, and liaising with external partners and stakeholders. To be successful as an Operations Specialist, you should be committed to improving customer experiences and able to ensure operational efficiency. The position holder is required to have excellent organizational, people management, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities :
- Manage reporting and accuracy of day-to-day operational performances.
- Acquire and maintain skills and knowledge necessary to efficiently manage or troubleshoot and report WMS systems and related issues. Support the RFC teams in systematically processing work as issues arise.
- Continually review ways to improve the warehouse processes, find efficiencies in reducing manual efforts, and recommend data-based changes as necessary.
- Serve as the site champion in implementing new processes or system / functional changes.
- Partner directly with corporate IT, systems engineers, and other support department staff for all equipment, system, or other technical requirements for the RFC.
- Lead RFC teams through root cause analysis efforts.
- Perform general warehouse duties which may include moving, organizing, restocking inventory and processing returns, general warehouse sanitation, and picking and packing orders as needed.
About You :
2+ years of experience as an Operations Specialist or in a similar role.Ability to work with very diverse groups of people at all levels of authority.Ability to work in a complex organization that is fast-paced and constantly changing to meet current challenges. This position must function in this environment on a daily basis and react quickly to meet pressing needs.Must have the ability to communicate effectively with prospective employees in-person, through e-mail or over the phone.Maintaining policy and procedure documents.Must have working experience using web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) is required.Must have adequate writing / speaking skills (English).Project management and leadership experience a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet competing deadlines under pressure while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.Consistently demonstrate strong competency with inventory management systems, and standard warehouse operations.Detail-oriented.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
