Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position on day shifts, requiring at least 3 years of recent clinical experience.

Responsibilities Position is in a hospital Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Adult medical-surgical and step-down patient population

Day shift schedule from 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m.

13-week contract assignment

May require floating to similar units or nearby locations as needed

Provide direct patient care and collaboratively develop patient care plans

Work in partnership with physicians, team members, and patient families to optimize outcomes

Works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager

Access to confidential patient information required

May be asked to float to other similar units or facilities as operationally necessary

Requirements Active RN license required and must be currently active

Minimum of 3 years recent nursing experience

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Must reside outside a 60 mile radius
