Job Details

As a Project Engineer / Civil Engineer Land Development, you will utilize your expertise and technical abilities to collaborate and contribute to the planning and design activities for a broad range of project assignments dealing with site development, roadway, traffic, hydrology & hydraulics, utilities and more for public, private and institutional clients, while working in a team-oriented setting and interacting with clients. We are a casual and supportive company where each person helps contribute to projects that make a difference in our local community.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for organizing and executing the technical quality and coordination of a broad range of project assignments requiring an extensive knowledge of site development
• Represents company and client to agencies and contractors
• Lead design efforts for all aspects of land development engineering, which may include research and analysis, hydraulics, hydrology, storm / sewer drainage, street design, and grading
• Design utilizing Civil3D for public, private, and institutional projects
• Work with fellow team members and supervisors to provide all necessary design, coordination, and follow-up work to ensure agency requirements and quality standards are met
• Prepare plans and profiles, compiling research and development of technical reports, calculations, cost / quantity estimates, and specifications to provide clear, traceable, and coordinated interpretation of the design / drawings for construction
• Participate in site visits, client meetings, and QA / QC
• Assist and lead efforts for agency approvals and be familiar with local regulatory requirements and procedures
• Possess a thorough understanding of concepts of schedule, budget, and scope of services
• Supervise, coach, and mentor staff and coordinate with them for design efforts
