Licensed Professional of Healing Arts

Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non- Exempt

Summary of Position: This position is responsible for implementing and coordinating behavioral health services throughout Harris County.

• Provide direct counseling to the individual and family
• Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment.
• Ensure that all services are provided in compliance with YAP Policies and State/Federal Regulations. * Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment. Hourly Rate: $55 per hour for billable services.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in one of the following human services field required: psychology, criminal justice, sociology, social work, counseling/therapy, or behavioral health.
• Active Professional Licensure in the practice of psychology, counseling, or social work required. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)
• Experience in the provision of home and/or community based mental health services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge: knowledge with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus
• Foster Care experience is a plus.
• Play Therapy experience is a plus.
• Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus
• CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification is a plus
• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
