Job Details :

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
• Float required throughout facility
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios : 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights
• 1 year of experience required
• LTAC experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Required to wear navy blue scrubs
• Must have experience with Cerner documentation system
• Medication system : Omnicell
• Communication system : SBAR
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with heart failure, Afib, Afib with RVR, stroke, and post PCI / cardiac cath conditions
• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care, heparin protocols, cardiac drip management, CVA care, and airway management
• Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac telemetry unit providing specialized care for patients with cardiovascular conditions and neurological disorders. The facility maintains a daily census of 160 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The organization utilizes modern technology systems and maintains high standards for cardiac monitoring and patient care.
