Job Title : Restaurant Manager
Job Summary :
The Restaurant Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, and overall guest satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, handling administrative duties, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained establishment.
Key Responsibilities :
Staff Management :
- Train, develop & motivate hourly staff.
- Schedule work shifts and assign duties.
- Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues.
Customer Service :
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.Monitor and respond to online reviews and feedback.Operations Management :
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.Financial Management :
Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.Analyze financial reports and develop strategies to improve performance.Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.Collaboration :
Collaborate with the corporate Social Media team to market specials, new menu items & all things new at your concept.Communicate staffing needs to the corporate Talent Acquisiton team & attend weekly job fairs.Compliance and Licensing :
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Maintain proper licensing and permits.Stay updated on industry trends and legal requirements.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).Experience : At least 2 (two) years of upscale dining management is requiredSkills :
Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in restaurant management software (Resy, Toast, Restaurant365)Financial acumen and budgeting experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.Working Conditions :
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.Willingness to be involved in hands-on tasks and work in all areas of the restaurant as needed.
