Job Summary : Seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced industrial machinery, including 3D printing and automated fiber placement systems. This role involves ownership of complex mechanical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating across disciplines to bring innovative manufacturing systems to life.

Base pay range : $90,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and integration of large-scale industrial equipment.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings in CREO (Parametric).
• Conduct engineering analyses, tolerance stack-ups, and material selection.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams for seamless integration.
• Oversee prototype builds, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct and lead design reviews, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Develop documentation such as BOMs, technical specifications, and test procedures.
• Drive continuous innovation in mechanical system performance and manufacturability.
