We are looking for a Senior Procurement Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will lead procurement efforts to ensure the acquisition of goods and services aligns with organizational goals and regulatory standards. This position requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to optimize procurement processes.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Procurement Manager, airport management, and regulatory agencies to align procurement strategies with operational objectives.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to develop scopes of work, specifications, and evaluation criteria tailored to aviation-related goods and services.
- Manage the solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and timely execution of contracts for airport-related goods and services.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with aviation regulations, safety standards, environmental guidelines, and business diversity goals.
- Oversee the procurement lifecycle, including requisitions, approvals, and order placements, for designated projects.
- Implement procurement best practices to enhance cost efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.
- Foster collaboration across departments to address and fulfill procurement needs effectively.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on procurement policies, procedures, and evaluation processes.
- Maintain detailed procurement records and reports to support internal and external audits.
- Demonstrated experience in Government procurement practices and Creating RFP's.
- VCO certification is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of purchasing and procurement principles.
- Ability to navigate and adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
- Familiarity with aviation-related procurement is a plus.
