Communications Specialist

A company is looking for a Communications Specialist to support the Communications and External Affairs Branch of NOAA Fisheries' West Coast Region.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement an annual editorial content plan for social media accounts

Create and manage multimedia content for outreach and stakeholder newsletters

Coordinate graphic product management tasks and support the development of visual communication materials

Required Qualifications

Experience in program planning and management in a team environment

Expertise in managing social media presence for organizations

Knowledge of search engine optimization and social media metrics

Experience in translating technical information for a lay audience

Proficiency in graphic design platforms and MS Office
