TODDLER GROUP SUPERVISOR

Job purpose :

Attend to the basic needs of toddlers

Permanent position : 40 hrs / week; annual salary $31,200-$35,360.

Main duties :

Plan and implement daily program activities.

Serve meals and refreshments to children.

Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.

Organize and participate in recreational activities and outings, such as games and walking trips.

Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.

Regularly complete assessments of each child and share with parents.

Coordinate activities of assistant group supervisors and aides.

Assist the director with designated activities.

Required : An associate’s degree (foreign equivalent acceptable) from an accredited college or university in

early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services

field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations OR A bachelor’s degree (foreign

equivalent acceptable) from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood

education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and 1 year

of experience in the job offered or related occupations.
