Electrical Test Technician-Field

Asplundh Electrical Testing (AET) is seeking highly skilled and motivated Relay Technicians, Sr. Relay Technicians, and Field Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support during fieldwork, as well as preparing internal and client reports.    Responsibilities :

• Install, adjust, and troubleshoot relays with technical capabilities
• Support the sales effort by assisting with labor estimates and job walks
• Remain up-to-date with all safety and technical training; attend company sponsored safety training when required
• Collect field data and perform arc flash studies, coordination studies, and short circuit analysis
• Provide technical insight concerning substation systems and electrical power systems
• Adhere to all company, industry, and client safety protocols and standards ensuring our “ Safety First ” priority
• Install, troubleshoot, commission, test, and maintain protective relaying equipment
• Calibrate and perform functional tests on microprocessor-based protective relays for high-voltage substations
• Conduct end-to-end relay testing using Doble ProTest software or Protection Suite
