Tapestry Solutions Accounting Manager

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Accounting Manager in Maryland Heights, MO to lead the Tapestry accounting team and hold a key role in the Tapestry finance leadership team. In this role, you will inspire a non-local team of 8 individual contributors responsible for general ledger, monthly close, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, travel, and finance systems & analytics.

Position Responsibilities :

• Manages, develops, and motivates employees performing the activities of gathering, analyzing, interpreting, preparing, and reconciling accounting information according to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepares internal and external financial reports.
• Prepares and reconciles financial information according to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensures effective internal controls.
• Identifies and resolves accounting system issues.
• Reviews and interprets company directives and policies to guide overall accounting policies and practices.
• Supports the development and deployment of new systems and tools and integration within the Accounting system.
• Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and banking activities for Tapestry.
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
• Acquires resources for department activities, leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualification, as well as market and business considerations. Summary base pay range $110,000 - $165,000.
