Overview
This is a great opportunity for individuals to demonstrate their technical expertise and continue to develop their skills within a rapidly expanding company. As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, all while delivering outstanding customer service.
You will also support system setup and maintenance, respond to user inquiries, contribute to IT documentation, and participate in a variety of IT-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to end-users with a focus on excellent customer service - from initial logging of requests in our ITSM system Jira, through resolution or escalation.
- Follow established IT procedures and protocols.
- Assist with hardware deployment, setup, and moves.
- Support asset management efforts by tracking and maintaining IT equipment inventory.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal documentation and knowledge base articles.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of two years of prior IT support experience.Associates degree or higher in an IT related field preferred.Reliable and dependable work ethic.Strong customer service orientation.Basic to intermediate knowledge of PC hardware, Office 365, application support, Windows 11, macOS, and networking fundamentals.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.Good organizational and time management abilities.Experience with JumpCloud, Okta, and / or Amazon WorkSpaces preferred.Compensation & Hours
Salary - 40 hours per week9AM-6PM ESTFully On-site in Grand RapidsOpportunity to work from home 1 day / week after 3 months
