Job Objective

Assists Store Manager or Store-in-charge in store management and daily operations, including sales, customer service, operations and administration, communication, marketing and merchandising. Ability to assume the responsibilities of the Store Manager or Store-in-charge in his / her absence.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Generation

• Meet personal and store sales goals
• Collaborate with the store manager to analyze sales reports and data to determine the needs of the business and set business strategies
• Support the store manager by continuously exercising, motivating and supporting sales staff to meet assigned sales and productivity goals by assessing associate selling techniques and ensuring utilization of elevated levels of service to maximize sales
• Demonstrate sales leadership for staff by playing an active role on the selling floor
• Ensure all sales related policies and procedures are maintained
• Collaborate with store manager to identify marketing opportunities to support sales
• Support the store manager to develop events / incentives that will continue to grow customer base, with particular emphasis on building local market presence
• Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise and develop product knowledge among selling staff
• Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends
