Job Title : Tool Repair & Tool Maintenance Toolmaker

Location : Wallingford, CT

Duration : Direct Hire

Salary : $ — Depending on experience

Description :

Responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all tools and fixtures. Completes required paperwork, ensures all spare tooling is in good working order, and performs other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities :

Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time

Read and interpret blueprints

Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot all tooling and fixtures

Maintain detailed die history notes and update prints for engineering as needed

Keep spare tooling in good condition and maintain adequate supply levels

Work on tools directly in presses

Education & Experience :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Minimum of five years’ experience troubleshooting progressive dies
