Director of Engineering – Manufacturing Automation & Productivity

We’re seeking a strategic Director of Engineering for our client to implement & lead automation & productivity improvements in their heavy industrial manufacturing environment, oversee the Maintenance Team & bring a curiosity & desire to understand & apply AI in new ways.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS Include :

• Proven leadership experience in a heavy industry manufacturing environment
• Strong background in manufacturing automation, process engineering, or productivity improvement
• Working knowledge of electronics systems such as PLCs, controllers, and industrial automation technologies
• Demonstrated curiosity and practical understanding of AI applications in manufacturing, with a desire to innovate and implement new solutions
• Experience managing or overseeing a Maintenance team.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture and translate it into tactical execution
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, advanced degree preferred
