Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Work with project teams to coordinate and create takeoffs for various types of concrete construction projects.

Review project documents, plans, and specifications to identify material and labor requirements.

Utilize takeoff software to determine quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed for a project.

Prepare accurate estimates for concrete projects.

Assist with budget analysis for project materials and labor.

Assist in the preparation of estimates and bids for projects.

Provide technical support to project teams when needed.

Position Requirements

You might be a great fit if you have :

A BA / BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position.

A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may qualify. 2-3 years of experience in a construction environment preferred.

Proficiency or experience with project / estimating related software including PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff and HCSS / Heavy Bid is a plus.

Working knowledge of Bluebeam.

Prior experience with a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) system or Tekla is a plus but not required.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced knowledge of Excel is a MUST!).

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
