Description :

The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma OR.

This is a swing shift position from 11 a.m. to 11 : 30 p.m.

Guaranteed hours are 36 per week.

Call expectations include 2 weekday shifts and 3 weekend shifts.

Weekday call consists of 8-hour shifts from 11 : 30 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Weekend call consists of 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 : 30 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 : 30 a.m.

Response time for calls is 45 minutes.

The role requires floating to other service lines in the Main OR as needed.

The department consists of 29 operating rooms with an average of 45-60 cases per day.

Scrubs are provided for the position.

The neuro team handles a range of procedures from simple one-level to complex ten-plus levels, including spine tumors, neuro trauma, and DBS procedures.

The position may include 1-2 weekend shifts in a six-week schedule.

On-call expectations are two times per week for weekdays and three times for weekends.

Epic access is not required for this role.
