Orthopedic Unit Staff Nurse

Position Overview

Up to $15k Sign-On Bonus

United Health Services, the largest and most comprehensive provider of healthcare services in upstate New York's Southern Tier, is hiring a Staff Registered Nurse, Orthopedics to join our team at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. The Orthopedic unit is a steady, collaborative environment. Dealing with a range of orthopedic surgeries, there's always something new coming in!

Compensation Range :

$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule :

Multiple shifts available

8 hour shifts; Monday – Friday, every 3rd Weekend.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Admit and prep patients for orthopedic procedures
• Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed
• Administering medications and providing pain management
• Discharging patients post procedure
